Cordeel upgrades commercial area in Bilthoven

change in text Shopping center de Kwinkelier in Bilthoven is currently undergoing a major metamorphosis which will be carried out in six phases. Cordeel is currently realizing three phases on behalf of the The House of Development client: phase II, the Vinkenplein and phase III 'the winding street'.

In March, alderman Hans Mieras gave the official go-ahead for the construction of phase II of the shopping mall the Kwinkelier. The Kwinkelier is owned by the Royal Properties Group where the commercialization is supervised by Sebald. The second phase in which the parking garage will be expanded and six new retail spaces will be built, where amongst others supermarket Lidl and Anna van Toor will settle. The construction of phase II is progressing according to plan and with the assembly of the first part of the steel construction, the contours of the new retail spaces are now clearly visible!

A little further in the center we are working to make the Vinkenplein the new place to stay in the center. The square will become a green space with plenty of space to relax on a terrace. Located on the village square with catering and shopping facilities we build 30 luxury apartments with underground parking facilities.

With the renovation of the Kronkelstraatje (phase III), the facades of the shops will be renovated in the same style as the already refurbished retail units in the street.

During the construction work the public can shop in the center, through a deposited walking route.
