Cordeel builds second Scheldt bridge in Temse
We were commissioned by Flemish Waterways and Sea Canal to build the longest metal bridge in Belgium. Measuring 374 metres in length, this so-called double bascule bridge is 9 metres longer than the adjacent existing Scheldt bridge. The movable deck sections (leafs) meet each other at 50 metres. The bridges are 10 metres apart and have an equally wide passage for shipping.
