Renovated wing of AZ Zeno officially opened

Last Saturday, the renovated wing of AZ Zeno in Blankenberge was officially opened.

About 10,000 square meters of the hospital underwent thorough renovation. The result? 26 brand-new consultation rooms, a new entrance hall, and modernized departments. Cordeel was responsible for the structural work. The entire wing was stripped and partially demolished. A section of the facade was shifted by 3 meters, making each room a whopping 11 square meters larger. The washed concrete panels used for the reconstruction of the wing were produced by C-concrete, which is also part of the Cordeel Group.

We would like to thank our partners who made the renovation of the AZ Zeno hospital possible, namely Fast Forward Architects (architect), Establis (engineering), EEG (technicians) and Wycor (finishing).

New energy-neutral building for Antwerp's operational city services

On the Havanasite in the north of Antwerp, a new energy-neutral building will soon arise. It will serve as the main base for most of the operational services of the city of Antwerp. The realization of this new building has been awarded to Team 't Noord, consisting of Cordeel Belgium, Van Roey, Binst architects, and AAVO architects.

Social housing site 'Strijdros' officially inaugurated

In Evere, today the Brusselse Gewestelijke Huisvestingsmaatschappij (BGHM) and Comensia inaugurated 130 new social housing units. The Strijdros (Destrier) project, realized by Cordeel Belgium, not only comprises 130 social housing units but also a high-quality communal facility, featuring new premises for the Maison Coopérative Destrier.
