The construction of the Experience Bridge for the City of Hasselt has reached another important milestone. Following its transport from Temse via the Scheldt and Albert Canal, the impressive steel structure was successfully manoeuvred into Hasselt’s canal basin today and installed at its final location along the Blauwe Boulevard.

Following a successful turning operation at the end of May, the impressive steel structure has now left the C-metal site in Temse and begun its journey to its final destination at the Blauwe Boulevard in Hasselt.

The 19th edition of Open Construction Day was once again a great success. On Sunday, 31 May, visitors across Belgium had the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the construction industry. From large-scale infrastructure projects to innovative residential and utility developments, nearly 130 construction sites opened their doors to the general public.

An important milestone was reached yesterday on the construction site of the new campus building for UHasselt on Koning Boudewijnlaan in Hasselt.
