Construction of De Zaat residential zone in Temse
We redeveloped the 85-hectare Boelwerf in Temse into a modern zone that combines residential and work functions: 600 apartments, dozens of houses and 60 business units. Aertssen, experts in the field of demolition and remediation, collaborated with us on this project.

The location (covering an area equivalent to 175 football pitches) was a brownfield site. After the land was expertly remediated by Aertssen, we set to work on laying out the surrounding infrastructure and building the apartments. We collaborated with multiple architects and agencies on this project who designed dozens of apartment buildings bearing the names of ships that were built on the Boelwerf over the years. The result is a successful redevelopment that has permanently changed the skyline of Temse.
