New Nautilus apartment building in Anderlecht
We supplied the precast concrete elements for the wall panels and the balconies of the newly constructed Nautilus apartment building, which also features 151 underground parking spaces. By optimising the layout of the elements, we were able to significantly reduce the necessary assembly and transport times.

Smart optimisation
In consultation with Axent Architects, our prefab concrete department prepared the plans for the wall panels and the balconies in white concrete. We optimised the layout of the elements, thereby minimising the number of constituent parts. For example, the returns where the windows join onto the concrete were cast along with the wall panels. Together with the architect, our quality controller supervised aspects such as colour, detailing of the fillets, integrated drains, balcony slabs and the smoothness of the top surface of the balconies. Halfen took care of the structural calculation of the anchors for the suspension of the panels and assembly took place on a subcontract basis.
