First foundation slab poured for the Imagination project in Leuven

On behalf of UZ Leuven and KU Leuven, Cordeel Belgium is constructing a production and research building for nuclear medicine in a temporary joint venture with Imtech. The project is known as Imagination.

Following two months of earthworks, during which more than 17,000 m³ of soil was removed from a partially supported excavation pit reaching a depth of 11 metres, the first power-floated foundation slab was poured at the end of September.

Thanks to coordinated lean planning and close cooperation between all parties involved, several activities could be carried out simultaneously and efficiently. As a result, the construction site remains on schedule.

Highest Point Reached for Technical Cluster North in Antwerp

Experience Bridge successfully installed in Hasselt’s canal basin
