Maypole marks highest point of new campus building for UHasselt
As contractor, Cordeel Belgium is delivering a future-oriented urban campus of no less than 14,000 m². The new seven-storey building will become, among other things, the new home of UHasselt’s Faculty of Business Economics.
The project includes modern educational infrastructure with auditoriums, classrooms, study and meeting areas, as well as office and workspace facilities for university staff. With this new development, UHasselt is strengthening its presence in the centre of Hasselt and further expanding a dynamic city campus focused on the humanities.
The works are progressing according to schedule and completion of the building is planned for the second half of November. Roofing works are currently being finalized while the next phases of the finishing works are ongoing.
