Zeebrugge Green Logistics commissioned

Zeebrugge Green Logistics, formerly better known as Lingang*, was commissioned on Friday 30 September 2022. The official opening took place on 12 October. This sustainable, state-of-the-art logistics site of over 73,000 m² in the port of Zeebrugge comprises 10 warehouses with 10 loading docks each, a container yard, an office building and spacious parking.

This project is developed by Intervest in cooperation with theZeebrugge Port Authority and is situated in the Port of Zeebrugge, an important gateway to Western Europe. The site is situated in the Maritime Logistics Zone in the port of Zeebrugge, near the COSCO Shipping Deepwater Container Terminal, with excellent connection to the E40, E34 and E403 motorways. The unique location covers the biggest consumer markets in the Northwest of Europe, as well as the UK.

The project is BREEAM 'Excellent'-certified thanks to, among other things, a PV installation on the entire roof, heating via heat pumps and rainwater recovery.

Cordeel België realised this project in collaboration with sister companies C-metal, C-concrete, C-wood, C-guard and C-energy.

Social housing site 'Strijdros' officially inaugurated

In Evere, today the Brusselse Gewestelijke Huisvestingsmaatschappij (BGHM) and Comensia inaugurated 130 new social housing units. The Strijdros (Destrier) project, realized by Cordeel Belgium, not only comprises 130 social housing units but also a high-quality communal facility, featuring new premises for the Maison Coopérative Destrier.
